We will stop Iran, says Tony Blair
Former UK Prime Minister Tony Blair, who currently serves as a Special Envoy of the International Quartet for Meddle East Peace, in his interview with BBC, marking the publication of his memoirs, said that Iran is one of the biggest state sponsors of radical Islam. He said that it is necessary to prevent Iran by any means from developing a nuclear weapon.
"We need to give a message to Iran that is very clear - that they cannot have nuclear weapons capability, and we will stop them," he told BBC.
Blair said he was not advocating military action, but he wants to say that no option could be taken off the table.
Iranian nuclear program faced strong protests among world powers, who demanded to stop nuclear developments. Iranian authorities talk back that county’s nuclear program is being developed for peaceful meanings and purposes.
