Head for the shooting in mosque in Azerbaijan arrested
Azerbaijan’s police have arrested the head for shooting in the mosque in Gumbashy village of southern Lyankaran region of Azerbaijan, local media reported citing Deputy Chief of the Lyankaran regional police Javid Agaev.
Javid Agaev said the investigation into the accident identified Arif Feyzullaev as the head for crime in Gumbashy village. Arif Feyzullaev and a group of armed men started firing at the people who gathered in front of the mosque at 12:15 am on September 3 in Gumbashy village. One villager was shot dead and another one was rushed to the hospital with bullet wound in his chest. Attackers entered the village from neighboring Massalin region by cars.
Police also arrested two other attackers, residents of the Massalin region Ramil Gumbatov and Emin Bagirov.
Other responsible for the shooting men, residents of the Massallin region – Zamin Sadygov, Elvin Mirzoyev, Orhan Deyazov, Sadyg Hasanov and resident of the Lyankaran region Emin Bashirov are wanted.
