AFM: Azimov’s chiefs with open eyes deceive him

“Over past years, there were adopted several statements by presidents and foreign ministers of the OSCE Minks Group co-chairing states, and foreign minister of the OSCE co-chairing countries, and those statements signally and clearly contain an indication of the key issue of the negotiations, that Azerbaijan has been unsuccessfully diverting the attention of the international community: the status of Nagorno Karabakh determined by legally obligatory declaration of will of the people of NKR,” Armenian Foreign Ministry spokesperson, Tigran Balayan, said in the statement when asked by News.am informational agency to comment the statement of Azerbaijan’s President Ilham Aliev in relation to the settlement to the Karabakh issue.

He stressed that Araz Azimov [deputy foreign minister of Azerbaijan] hasn’t ever participated in the main meetings on settlement to the Karabakh conflict and, thus, is informed about the talks just by hearsay: “It’s clear that Mr Azimov’s chiefs with open eyes are deceiving him that Azimov could more surely draw the wool over own country public's eyes.”
