Clinton expects Turkey’s support
The United States initiating talks between Israel and Palestine now expects Turkey’s support in establishment of peace, U.S. Secretary of State Hillary Clinton told her Turkish counterpart Ahmet Davutoglu in a phone conversation. According to NIRA Aksakal, Clinton-Davutoglu phone conversation lasted 45 minutes.
In return, the Turkish Foreign Minister presented his country’s priorities in establishment of peace.
The interlocutors discussed possibilities of Turkey’s support in that issue, touched upon the situation in Afghanistan and Iran’s nuclear problem.
According to the source, Davutoglu invited Clinton to Turkey to watch the Turkey-U.S. basketball match if the match takes place.
