Hillary Clinton heads to Mideast
US Secretary of State Hillary Clinton is heading to the Middle East on Monday to participate in talks that she says may be the last chance for peace between Israelis and Palestinians.
The travel to the Middle East will last until September 16, a spokesperson to the Department of State said in the statement. Hillary Clinton will travel along with Assistant Secretary of State for Near Eastern Affairs Jeffrey Feltman and Mideast special envoy George Mitchell.
Clinton's task, President Barack Obama said, is to get the Israeli and Palestinian leaders to "start thinking about how can they help the other succeed, as opposed to how do they figure out a way for the other to fail," according to Associated Press.
