Venezuela plane crash kills 15
ATR-42 plane with 51 passengers and crew on board crashed into the yard of a steel mill in southern Venezuela and burst into flames Monday, killing 15 people.
Authorities said 36 survivors were pulled from the wreckage of the French-built ATR-42 plane owned by Venezuela’s state-run airline Conviasa.
French-built ATR-42 plane operated by the state airline Conviasa, had taken off from the city of Puerto Ordaz, in the state of Bolivar, and was headed to tourist favourite Margarita Island, RIA Novosti quoted Infrastructure Minister Francisco Garces as saying.
