Israel-Palestine peace talks set to get underway in Jerusalem
Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu and Palestinian Authority President Mahmoud Abbas will meet Wednesday in Jerusalem for the third round of peace talks with participation of Secretary of State Hillary Clinton.
The US-initiated negotiations, which resumed in Washington earlier this month after nearly a two-year break, are aimed at finding an amicable solution to the decades-long Palestine-Israeli conflict.
After the three-sided meeting in Jerusalem, Netanyahu and Abbas are expected to meet tête-à-tête without any statements for media.
Netanyahu’s spokesperson told RIA Novosti that the sides expect a productive result of talks.
