Winemaking companies should create association

Grape growing development promotes solution of villagers’ social problems in Armenia, Prime Minister Tigran Sargsyan told at the Sixth Fruitful Armenia international conference in Yerevan.

Speaking about the winemaking problems T. Sargsyan prioritized creation of Armenian wine brand by processing high quality grapes, producing good quality wine, organization of their exports and sale. According to the Premier, to enter the international market Armenian winemaking companies need to amalgamate, create an association which will get state assistance.

We should promote table grape exports, according to Sargsyan, by creating a logistics center in Zvartnots airport.

“We need to build the chain from production to realization of agricultural products for state assistance to small economies to be efficient,” Premier stressed.

The Prime Minister said that successful implementation of the program of Free Economic Zone will allow to realize agricultural products abroad and will result in price rise.
