Ahmadinejad expects humanity from U.S.
U.S. could release several Iranian detainees in exchange for release of American native Sarah Shourd, Iranian President Mahmoud Ahmadinejad told the state television, lenta.ru reported citing Agence France-Presse.
“We expect nothing for it (release of Shourd). However, it would be natural and ethical if U.S. released several Iranians detained in Thailand, Georgia, and other countries or just in U.S. for exports of certain goods,” Ahmadinejad said.
“We hope U.S. will appreciate IRI actions and will do something humane,” Iranian President said.
