Renco Holding puts into operation Piazza Grande in Yerevan

The solemn opening ceremony of the Piazza Grande complex took place today in Yerevan, 20 Vazgen Sargsyan. Director General of Renco Holding Giovanni Rubini and Yerevan Mayor Gagik Beglaryan cut the red ribbon.

The construction of the Piazza Grande complex started in 2007. The ten-storeyed building has an area of 42,000 sq/m. It is a multifunctional complex. -1 and 0 floors are trade territories, from first to third floors are office territories, and from fourth to tenth floors are apartments. Over USD 50m was invested into the construction.

“We have built separate entrances for the trade, office and residential territories,” Giovanni Rubini told reporters.

According to Mr. Rubini, the construction was done with modern technology, which guarantees building’s security.

Yerevan Mayor Gagik Beglaryan expressed satisfaction with the construction quality saying that Armenian builders cannot yet reach this level.

“It is important that our specialists work, and exchange of experience will help us achieve the quality Renco ensures.”

He stressed that any similar construction stimulates competition between construction companies.

“Our construction quality is constantly improving as compared with previous years,” Beglaryan said.

The Renco Holding has built the Congress Hotel, Embassy of Italy, underground parking lot near the Opera House, residential buildings in Yerevan.
