Armenia-Georgia border-related issues to be solved soon
Secretary of the National Security Council of Armenia, Artur Baghdasarian, said at the news-conference that the program of coordinated management of borders of the South Caucasus region can contribute to settlement to the controversial issues related to Armenia-Georgia borders.
“The controversial issues related to the Armenia-Georgia borders are under discussion, and will soon be solved,” said Baghdasarian.
Chief of the Yerevan Office of the Integrated South Caucasus Border Management Program, Grigor Malentian, said in his part that 65% of the demarcated Armenia-Georgia borders had been already regulated. He said that in the near future new agreements will be signed bringing in force regulations of border-related issues.
