WHO: Armenia has lowest index of murders
The World Health Organization Regional Office for Europe published the results of organization’s studies, according to which, Armenia, Germany and Austria have the lowest index of murders, Deutsche Welle reported.
The highest index of murders is recorded in Russia, Albania, Kazakhstan, a number of Eastern Europe countries.
40 people aged between 10 and 29 are killed every day in Europe. This number makes more than 15 thousand in a year.
Over 40 percent murders are knife stabs.
According to experts, 80 percent victims are men.
