Armenia’s GDP reaches 2,5 trillion drams
Armenia’s National Statistics have released reports on scope of GDP which in January-August of 2010 showed 3,1% growth in comparison with last year’s figures and become equal to 2 tln 42 bln 788,8 million drams; in August the GDP increased by 79,3% in comparison with July.
The scopes of industrial production reached 503 billion 982,3 million drams in January-August of 2010, and this is higher by 11,5% in comparison with last year’s period.
There was a 18% decline in agricultural sector for the reported period.
Scopes of foreign trade of Armenia reached $2958,7 million over January-August of 2010; export’s scopes increased by 43,8% and reached $598,1 million, and import’s scopes increased by 21,3% and reached $2360,6 million.
