Armenian Independence Day marked in Kuwait
First-ever state reception dedicated to the 19th anniversary of the Republic of Armenia Independence took place on September 23 in the Marina Hotel of Kuwait.
The solemn ceremony was attended by representatives of local authorities, Foreign Ministry of Kuwait, Armenian community, media, heads of diplomatic missions accredited to the country, businessmen and politicians, according to MFA press office.
Ambassador of Armenia to Kuwait Fadey Charchoghlyan addressed the opening of the event. He touched upon the current condition of Armenian-Kuwaiti relations and further programs aiming at promotion of interstate cooperation. F. Charchoghlyan on behalf of the Armenian government thanked the authorities of Kuwait and the Armenian community of Kuwait for their considerable support and contribution to establishment of the Embassy of Armenia.
