Soyuz spacecraft lands safely in Kazakh steppe
The Soyuz capsule carrying two Russian and a US cosmonauts has landed safely in Kazakhstan.
The Soyuz spacecraft, carrying three crew Alexander Skvortsov, Mikhail Kornienko and Tracy Caldwell-Dyson, landed safely in the Kazakh steppes on Saturday at 9.23am Moscow time from the International Space Station, a spokesperson for Russian mission control said. The Soyuz had earlier undocked from the International Space Station after a failed attempt on Friday.
"The landing was without incident. The crew feels normal," a spokesman for the Russian mission control told media.
Astronauts spent 176 days in the space.
