Armenian-Belarusian Intergovernmental Commission meets
Today Yerevan hosted the 8th session of the Armenian-Belarusian Intergovernmental Commission on Trade and Economic Issues.
The previous session was held on March 18, 2009 in Minsk. The Commission Co-chairs are Armenian Minister of Economy Nerses Yeritsyan and Belarusian Minister of Trade Valentin Chekanov.
The agenda of two-day session includes a wide range of issues - development of trade and economic cooperation between Armenia and Belarus, cooperation in spheres of health, agriculture, science and education, culture, information technologies and other mutually beneficial spheres as well as expansion of interregional contacts between Armenia and Belarus.
The Protocol of the 8th joint session of the Armenian-Belarusian Intergovernmental Commission on Trade and Economic Issues is due to be signed at the session.
