Overturned bus: Azerbaijani driver says carried people to Syria
Azerbaijani media reported that the Iranian bus which had overturned earlier in Turkey was driven by a 31-year-old Azerbaijani who delivered details.
“We were on our way to holy Zeinab Khanum in Syria, and when we were entering Turkey’s territory, bus’ brakes got out of order and caused its overturning,” 1News.az agency quoted driver, Ibragim Dadashoglu as saying.
The Iranian passenger bus overturned in southeastern Turkey, in Sanliurfa province, close to the border with Syria, on Monday. Three people were killed in the accident, and 50 others were wounded and hospitalized.
