Ocalan delivers order to withdraw from Turkey
Kurdish rebels of the Workers’ Party of Kurdistan (PKK) are withdrawing from Turkey’s territory, Trend Agency reported citing Turkish Taraf paper.
RKK leader Abdullah Ocalan who serves life sentence in a prison in Imraly, has deliver an order to withdraw from territories where there is a high possibility to clash with the Turkish troops, CNN Turk reported.
Commenting the news, Turkey’s President Abdullah Gul said on Sunday that Turkey won’t permit terrorist acting on its territory. “If [the Kurdish rebels] understood this, then it’s a good thing,” Gul was quoted as saying.
