Armenia-Belorussia document signed following session
Armenia’s Minister of Economy Nerses Yeritsian and Belarusian Minister of Trade Valentine Chekanov signed Tuesday a joint document concluding the 8th session of the inter-governmental commission on economical cooperation between the two nations.
Armenia and Belorussia have reached a range of agreements in various spheres, and in particular, in culture, economy, industry, medicine, education and tourism, Minister Yeritsian told reporters. “We consider this to be a good start,” said Minister.
Valentine Chekanov, in his part, said that his country is interested in exporting the technics to Armenia and in establishment of a center of technical service. He stressed the importance of the opening of the Belarusian Trade Hall in Yerevan and said that the Armenian Trade House will soon open in Minsk. In addition, the Sakharov Ecological Institute of Belorussia will open a special faculty for Armenian students.
