A. Zakaryan: We have no reason to worry

“This monitoring mission will be incomplete unless it involves Karabakh territories occupied by Azerbaijan. It will stimulate Minsk Group efforts to continue balanced and realistic mediatory mission,” member of Armenian parliament and RPA Board Artak Zakaryan told aysor.am commenting upon the fact-finding mission due between October 4 and 14 in territories around NKR.

According to him, the monitoring is aimed at recording, describing the current situation.

“I think it will be a stimulus for further steps in the process of conflict resolution. Taking into consideration our foreign policy’s efficiency and readiness to support the mediatory mission, I believe the monitoring can give a positive potential to Armenia’s policy. So, we have no reason to worry.”

According to the parliamentarian, we should consider the monitoring as an opportunity to once more voice and substantiate the necessity of retaining balance between the parties, involving NKR in the negotiation process, conducting a complete monitoring of Karabakh territories occupied by Azerbaijan.
