G. Minasyan: Mammadyarov tries to pretend innocent

“Everybody knows that the Armenian party has repeatedly come up with initiatives proposing withdrawing the snipers from the front line but the Azerbaijani party has rejected it with different motivations. Representatives of many international organizations have also spoken about that initiative. UN Secretary General also mentioned the necessity to withdraw the snipers during his meeting with Edward Nalbandyan,” member of Armenian parliament and RPA Board Gagik Minasyan told aysor.am responding to Azeri Foreign Minister’s statement that maintenance of peace regime in contact line is very important.

According to the parliamentarian, the Azerbaijani party tries to artificially create tension over the Nagorno Karabakh issue hindering its normal peaceful settlement.

“Mammadyarov again tries to pretend innocent, though only the Azerbaijani party is to blame in this issue; the actions of Azerbaijani snipers and diversion groups testify to it,” Minasyan said.
