Conference of the Armenian journalists kicks off in Stepanakert

Today in the capital city of Artsakh, in Stepamakert, kicks off the 5th pan-Armenian conference of the Armenian journalists titled “Challenges of the 21st century: Information security and the Armenian journalism”, which is to be continued till the 16th of November.

The conference is being held by the RA Ministry of Diaspora with the support of the Pan Armenian Media Association and Union of Journalists of Armenia in the frameworks of “One nation, one culture” pan Armenian 4th cultural festival.

On the conference will participate the heads of the Armenian and Diaspora media as well as journalists from 27 countries; around 100 participants from the Diaspora, the USA, Argentina, Byelorussia, Egypt, Turkey, Spain, etc.

On the conference will be discussed the following subjects; “The present condition and the problems of the Armenian and Diaspora media”, “Issues concerning the Armenian Genocide in the international media,” “The international media and the issues of Armenian Cause”, “Issues concerning the Nagorno Karabakh in Media”, “The imperative of consolidation of the journalistic potential”, “The role of the High Technologies in the formation of the Armenian world”.
