Erdogan: Israel may lose its “close friend”
Turkish Prime Minister Recep Tayyip Erdogan declared he will not attend the international conference on Climate Change in the Mediterranean to be hosted by Athens if Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu is present at the conference.
According to Isra.com, Erdogan told Sky news agency that Israel’s government “should pay for its boldness” and Israel may “lose its close friend in the Near East.”
Note that Turkish government demands compensation from Israel for families of 9 victims of Mavi Marmara attack.
