"Mass lying symptoms exist" within the Azeri

Azerbaijan continuously falsifies the reality, lying to the international community not only about the Karabakh conflict but also falsifying the history of Armenia, said Alik Gharibyan today on the press conference.

According to the speaker since the Soviet times the falsifications of the Azeri scientists have a negative influence over the opinion of the international community about the Armenians. As an example the historian presented many publications and sites that were full of information as if Karabakh has always been a part of Azerbaijan, even more, that the whole territory of the Republic of Armenia has been a part of “West Azerbaijan”.

“The Azerbaijani and Turkish historians do not hesitate to present the Turks as an indigenous people, who allegedly appeared in our region even before Christ, considering as their ancestors not only Semish several ancient tribes, but also some Indo-European ones like the Khets" he added.

A. Gharibian also noted that the Azerbaijani authorities are founding Armenian fake websites, which report wrong information about the socio-economic situation in Armenia and Artsakh, at the same time, represents Azerbaijan as a country having the most developed and economically powerful army in the region.

This is one of the ways of campaign, which psychologically influences the Armenians, and solves domestic problems," says A. Gharibian.

Other participant of the conference psychologist Karine Nalchyajyane speaking about the policy of the falsified historical realities, said that the Azerbaijanis have formed a serious psychological complex concerning the genealogy.

"A mass lying symptoms appear when there is a very serious psychological problem. In that case it is problem related with the genesis, which leads to pathology and nervosa. However, that ethno-psychological situation has changed into ethno-political one in Azerbaijan," explained the psychologist.
