Armenia-EU political cooperation efficiently develops
A meeting of the commission on coordination of Armenia’s cooperation with European institutions was held today. It was chaired by the Chairman of the commission, Secretary of the National Security Council of Armenia, Arthur Baghdasaryan, NSC press office reported.
“Armenia-European Union political cooperation efficiently develops, we can establish considerable progress in Armenia-EU relations, the program for 2009-2011 is implemented according to the schedule,” A. Baghdasaryan stated adding he attaches importance to further expansion of cooperation between EU and Armenia and successful negotiations over the Association Agreement.
“As a result of cooperation with EU we managed to found a diplomatic academy in Armenia. We expect to establish justice academy next year,” A. Baghdasaryan said.
Deputy Foreign Minister Karine Kazinian touched upon the talks over the Armenia-European Union Association Agreement. The team negotiating over the Association Agreement has already held two plenary meetings, video conferences.
Deputy Minister of Justice Nikolay Arustamyan addressed results of discussions on justice, freedom and security issues.
The participants of meeting also spoke about implementation of Armenia-EU action plan for the third quarter of 2010.
