Levon Aronian to participate in Corus Chess 2011
The organizing committee of traditional annual Corus Chess tournament hosted by Wijk aan Zee, Netherlands, published the composition of Corus Chess 2011 scheduled for January 14-30. The tournament will involve chess players who are among top ten on the chess rating list. They are Magnus Carlsen (Norway), Viswanathan Anand (India), Levon Aronian (Armenia), Vladimir Kramnik and Alexander Grishchuk (Russia).
According to coruschess.com, Ruslan Ponomaryov (Ukraine), Alexey Shirov (Spain), Hikaru Nakamura (U.S.), Wang Hao (China), Maxime Vachier-Lagrave (France), Yan Nepomnyashchy (Russia), Anish Giri, Yan Smith and Erwin L’Ami (Nevethelands) also participate in the tournament.
