Industrial zone set to be established in Syunik
An industrial zone is set to be established in the Syunik region of Armenia, with enterprises revealing Armenia’s potential in agricultural, light industry and other spheres, Prime Minister Tigran Sargsyan stated addressing the Armenian-Iranian business forum Tuesday, October 26.
According to the Prime Minister, the forum addressed serious problems faced by customs services, therefore Armenian party invited head of Iran’s customs service to visit Armenia to discuss ways of raising efficiency of cooperation in customs sphere.
Tourism development is also in focus, with Armenian tourist agencies to represent our country’s tourist attractions.
Armenian-Iranian cooperation will also expand in the educational sphere. An Armenology Center will be established in the University of Tehran and a Center for Islamic Studies will be founded at Yerevan State University.
