N. Pavlovich: Expo-Russia Armenia successful
The Expo-Russia Armenia 2010 industrial exhibition was successful, Nikolay Pavlovich, Director of Zarubezh Expo JSC, official operator of the exhibition, told reporters in Yerevan adding that Armenia is Russia’s most reliable partner in the post-Soviet space.
According to him, the number of Expo-Russia Armenia 2010 visitors has increased by over ¼ compared to the previous year. Armenian and Russian companies have already reached preliminary agreements. Particularly, Armenian-Russian pipe manufacturing company is set to be established in Armavir. Bilateral projects are planned in pharmaceutics, transport and other spheres. Pavlovich added that the number of cooperation agreements is expected to increase.
Expo-Russia Armenia 2010 was held between October 28 and 30. Besides Armenian companies, over 70 Russian companies participated in the exhibition representing spheres of energy, mechanical engineering, transport, communication and telecommunication, construction, chemical industry.
