Ambassador: Armenian-Kazakh trade circulation insufficient
On November 2, Minister of Transport and Communication Manuk Vardanyan hosted Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of Kazakhstan to Armenia Aimdos Bozzhigitov.
According to the Ministry spokesman, at Ambassador’s request, the Minister touched upon significant programs implemented in the transport sector.
Manuk Vardanyan said that discussions with concerned countries and companies over North-South Railway Project are underway.
He spoke about implementation of the North-South Motorway construction project.
Ambassador Bozzhigitov noted that Kazakh-Armenian trade circulation is insufficient due to lack of transport corridors. According to the Ambassador, Armenian-Kazakh business forum is scheduled to be held in December 2010 which is expected to address ways to increase trade volume.
