Ex-Foreign Minister: Astana Summit not to adopt road map
Ex-Foreign Minister, member of HAK Alexander Arzumanyan does not expect a progress over the Nagorno Karabakh resolution from OSCE Summit due in Astana.
“In Astana, the parties will stress importance of the conflict resolution within OSCE Minsk Group, OSCE member states will express support to the Minsk process and will merely make a general statement,” Arzumanyan told a news conference in Yerevan.
Asked whether Astana Summit is likely to adopt a road map the ex-Foreign Minister said road map is a “fashionable expression.”
“I don’t think a road map will be adopted. Madrid Principles are on the negotiating table which are absolutely unacceptable for Armenia and Artsakh. After all, any statement can be described as a road map,” Arzumanyan concluded.
