Erdogan offers mediation over Belgrade-Pristina dialogue
Turkish Prime Minister Recep Tayyip Erdogan during a trip to Kosovo Wednesday expressed Ankara’s readiness to be a mediator in launching dialogue between Belgrade and Pristina, Kosovo and Metokhia Radio reported.
Erdogan negotiated with Acting Prime Minister of Kosovo Hashim Thaçi Wednesday in Pristina, RIA Novosti said.
“We are ready to do our utmost for Kosovo-Serbia dialogue that will boost stability and security in the Balkans,” Erdogan told a news conference in Pristina.
In return, Thaçi said Turkey plays an important role in the new phase of relationship between Serbia and Kosovo.
