Orange Armenia summarizes results of one-year activities
Today is the first anniversary of launch of Orange services, which became an occasion for the company to summarize the results of one-year activities.
After one year of operation in the Armenian market, today Orange has 300,000 voice customers and 45,000 customers for mobile broadband internet. The 3G+ mobile network of the company built with the most modern technologies, today covers 93% of the population and is the largest in the country. Following its promise given one year ago, Orange offers a wide portfolio of services and has an offer for the mass market as well as for the business segment. Orange made a revolution in the internet market, by making mobile broadband internet accessible to wide public physically as well as from the affordability point of view.
In one year, Orange became the author of many innovations in Armenia: internet with up to 14.4 download speed, HD voice, e-shop etc, as well as transformed the market of smartphones, by significantly boosting the public interest towards smartphones and mobile data services. Today Orange offers the largest portfolio of phones and smartphones in the country, thanks to the direct cooperation with world leading brands. One day before the first anniversary, Orange confirmed its positions of the leader in innovations, by making a public live demonstration of 4G, the technologies of the future.
Wishing to be close to its customers, Orange has built a wide distribution network: 57 shops, which number is growing every day, more than 2000 points of sale where customers can get a SIM card and more than 6000 points of payment.

This is with this philosophy that Orange has placed in the heart of its charitable program the development of remote villages of Armenia and the care for children with autism.
