Georgian citizens to write “Book of Honor”
Action of protest was held Sunday, November 7 in Tbilisi to commemorate the events that occurred on November 7, 2007 in Georgia’s capital city. Demonstrators were given sheets of paper to make “Book of Honor” where Georgian citizens were to write their wishes about country’s future, Interfax reported.
On November 7, 2007 Georgian authorities dispersed a crowded rally in the center of Tbilisi. Opposition leader Eka Beselia commenting upon the events of November 7, 2007 said that “the authorities organized genocide against their own people, and the people will try them for it.” In her words, a “major national meeting will take place on November 25 in Tbilisi” that will mark the end of Saakashvili’s regime.
