Armenian, Polish Police sign Declaration of Cooperation
Chief of Armenian Police, Lieutenant General Alik Sargsyan’s delegation was in Warsaw between November 14 and 16 at the invitation of Minister of Interior and Administration of Poland Jerzy Miller, Police press office reports.
On November 15, Chief of Armenian Police, Lieutenant General Alik Sargsyan attended a meeting at the Police of Poland. The meeting addressed further development of international cooperation between the Police of Armenia and Poland in fighting crime.
Alik Sargsyan briefly presented the program of reforms in the Armenia’s Police sector for 2010-2011 proceeding from the Armenia-European Union Action Plan.
As part of the meeting, the Police of Armenia and Poland signed a Declaration of Cooperation.
Chief of Armenian Police, Lieutenant General Alik Sargsyan met with Minister of Interior and Administration of Poland Jerzy Miller. The interlocutors attached importance to development and expansion of cooperation between the Police of Armenia and Poland, particularly, within the Eastern Partnership program.
The next day Alik Sargsyan visited Warsaw Municipal Police where he met with Chief of Warsaw Police Superintendent Adam Mularz.
Alik Sargsyan also visited the Embassy of Armenia in Poland.
