Trial over Kyrgyzstan’s Ex-President postponed to November 22
Trial over Ex-President of Kyrgyzstan Kurmanbek Bakiyev, some of his relatives and close friends was postponed to November 22.
“The trial was postponed after the judge demanded to keep order and to ensure lawyers’ security during the hearings,” ITAR-TASS reports citing the Supreme Court of Kyrgyzstan.
The trial launched some days ago in Bishkek. Relatives of the aggrieved party behaved aggressively towards the defendants and their lawyers.
Kyrgyzstan’s Ex-President Kurmanbek Bakiyev, his younger brother Janibek Bakiyev, elder son Marat Bakiyev, former Head of Special Service Murat Sutalinov are prosecuted for abuse of their official position and killing more than two people.
