The Turkish President is to take part in the Lisbon Summit
The Turkish President Abdullah Gül, Foreign Minister Ahmet Davutoghlu and Defense Minister Vecdi Gonul will partake in the NATO’s Summit which will be held in Lisbon on November 19 – 20, the press release issued by the Turkish Foreign Ministry informs.
"It is intended that the Lisbon summit will adopt a new strategic concept, which will define the action plan of the alliance for the next 10-15 years," says the TRT with reference to the statement.
The Foreign Ministry draws the attention to the fact that in the summit’s agenda will be discussed relations of NATO with Russia and the Afghan problem.
According to the Lisbon the Summit will take place by two day agenda. There will be also a working supper.
