A. Davtyan: Ilham Aliyev suffers from deserter complex

“If the Armenian President had left for Lisbon and attended a summit which prioritizes principle of territorial integrity in resolution of South Caucasus conflicts, Azerbaijan could have speculated on it,” member of the RPA parliamentary faction Artak Davtyan told a news conference in Yerevan.

“Azerbaijan’s President has been undergoing intensive therapy lately. I imply Artsakh military exercise, Armenian President’s decision not to leave for Lisbon, NATO Secretary General’s statement. The reason behind Azerbaijani President’s bellicose statements is that he suffers from deserter complex. I think Azerbaijan’s President is a deserter who is constantly making threats and statements about resolving the Nagorno Karabakh conflict with military operations while he did not take part in the Karabakh war and even did not smell powder,” parliamentarian said.
