Armenians of Lebanon “warmly welcome” Erdogan
Turkish Prime Minister Recep Tayyip Erdogan arrived in Beirut on an official visit aiming to find a solution for growing power crisis in Beirut.
Turkish Prime Minister was “warmly welcomed” by local Armenian youth. Hundreds of Armenian young people organized action of protest against Erdogan’s visit to Beirut, Nouvelle d’Armenie reports quoting Editor-in-Chief of Azdak newspaper Shahan Kandaharian.
The Police intervened to remove placards with “sweet words” addressed to Turkish Prime Minister.
Note that Erdogan proposed in Beirut to postpone for one year publication of results of investigation into killing of former Lebanese Prime Minister Rafic Hariri.
UN court is going to accuse Hezbollah of killing Hariri.
