Bako Sahakyan visits France

On November 26, President of the Artsakh Republic Bako Sahakyan left Los Angeles for Paris.

On November 27, B. Sahakyan met member of the Hayastan All Armenian Fund’s Board of Trustees, Director of the Fund’s French affiliate Petros Terzyan.

President Sahakyan expressed his gratitude to the French affiliate of the Fund and its Director for organizing Phonethon 2010 in Europe. The meeting also addressed implementation of different programs in Artsakh.

On the same day Bako Sahakyan attended annual meeting of the Union of Armenian Doctors of France.

The President appreciated the long-term assistance shown to Artsakh noting the important role the union plays in developing medical sector in Artsakh.

The meeting also focused on cooperation in the health sector in Artsakh.

The events were attended by Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Republic of Armenia to France Vigen Chitechyan and Head of the Central Information Department of the Artsakh Republic President’s Office David Babayan.

On November 28, President of the Artsakh Republic Bako Sahakyan attended Sunday Mass offered by Supreme Patriarch and Catholicos of All Armenians Karekin II at the Cathedral of St. John the Baptist in Paris.

Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Republic of Armenia to France Vigen Chitechyan and Head of the Central Information Department of the Artsakh Republic President’s Office David Babayan, NKR Permanent Representative to France Hovhanness Gevorgyan were present at the event.
