President: Nagorno Karabakh “has no future as part of Azerbaijan”
President Serzh Sargsyan delivered a speech on the second day of OSCE summit in Astana.
President Sargsyan addressing the process of Nagorno Karabakh settlement stated that at this phase, Azerbaijan is not interested to resolve the conflict. The President said that Baku seeks not to settle the problem but rather to do harm to Armenia as far as possible.
“Armenia is categorically against military resolution of the problem,” President said.
Meanwhile President Sargsyan said that in case of Azerbaijan’s aggressive actions Armenia will have nothing else to do but de jure recognize the Nagorno Karabakh Republic and exert every effort to ensure Artsakh’s security.
Stressing that the Nagorno Karabakh Republic “has no future as part of Azerbaijan” the President said that the conflict resolution should be based on NK people’s will.
“Azerbaijan has neither legal and political nor moral grounds for its ambitions,” the President concluded.
