World Youth U16 Chess Olympiad: Armenian team stays in lead
Armenia’s national team beat Turkmenistan-A 2.5:1.5 in round 8 in the World Youth Under-16 Chess Olympiad hosted by Burdur, Turkey.
After round 8 Armenia’s team stays in the lead with 25.5 points. Russia’s team comes second with 21 points. Turkey-Red and India’s team have scored 20.5 points. Belarus, Turkmenistan-A, Syria come next with 18 points. Uzbekistan’s team has 17.5 points. Portugal and Slovenia share 9th-10th places with 17 points.
In round 9 Armenia will play against Syria.
