World Women's Championship starts in Hatay tomorrow
Armenian Grandmasters Elina Danielian and Lilit Mkrtchian are taking part in the World Women's Championship in a knockout format to be held in Antakya (ancient name - Antioch), Hatay, Turkey from December 4 to 24, 2010. Armenian chess players from abroad, Almira Skripchenko-Aghababian (France) and Dina Kagramanova (Canada) are also participating in the tournament. The matches will consist of two main games during the first five rounds.
In round 1 Danielian is going to play with Shadrina (Russia), Mkrtchian with Zhang Xiaowen (China), Skripchenko with Foisor (Romania), Kagramanova with Dzagnidze (Georgia), armchess.am reports.
