Considerable cadre changes to take place in Department of State
Wikileaks published information on infrastructures of much strategic importance for national security of U.S. The list included hundreds of oil pipelines, underwater cables and plants, loss of which, according to American diplomats, would inflict irreparable damage on U.S., BBC reports.
Meanwhile considerable cadre changes will take place in the Department of State in the coming months in connection with the diplomats mentioned by Wikileaks, Daily Beast reports citing its source in Obama administration.
“We will have to recall some of our best diplomats… since they dared tell the truth about the countries where they work,” source said.
