Posthumous Michael Jackson album to be released

A posthumous album by Michael Jackson, simply entitled "Michael", comes out today. The record will offer the first collection of new, previously unreleased songs by the "King of Pop,” vesti.ru reports.

The company, Sony Music, which is releasing the album, acknowledged that it was based on “draft” music material. Work on these songs was not finished before the singer’s death, which occurred a year and a half ago. However, according to studio representatives, the remaining records were, overall, of a “completed” nature, enabling the album to be put together and released despite the death of the musician himself.

One of the songs from the beyond-the-grave album, entitled “Breaking News” was posted on the Internet on November 8th. It refers to the desire of the media to fan out scandalous information around events in the life of Michael Jackson.
