RA President visits Byureghavan’s factory of glass bottles

Today President Serzh Sargsyan visited the glass bottles factory "Glass Word Company” in Byureghavan. The President made a tour around the building and got acquainted with the working conditions. The heads of the factory presented to President Sargsyan the activities planned for the 2011, as well as the second new line of the factory.

The “Glass Word Company” was founded in 2004 by the “KA & KA International Limited” company, on the basis of Arzni crystal factory. From 2004 to 2006 the factory was completely rebuilt and rearmed with new equipments, the total investment cost was 12 140 million AMD.”

One of the owners of the company Aram Kocharian on the meeting with the journalists said that the company plans to implement new investment projects till 2012, as a result of which in the factory will be create metal covers, packaging materials, labels, and mills of bottled water.

According to the owner, the factory produces 120 million units annually, having 314 work-places. The average salary is 140-160 thousand drams.

A. Kocharian also informed that at present around 67% output of the factory is exported to other countries, and in the Armenian market the production makes 80%.
