Pedophilia guide author arrested in Colorado on obscenity charges
Phillip R. Greaves II, the author of the controversial book entitled ‘The Pedophile’s Guide to Love and Pleasure: A Child-Lover’s Code of Conduct’ was arrested in Pueblo via a Florida warrant of arrest, RIA Novosti reports citing The Associated Press.
Phillip Greaves was arrested by Polk County Sheriff’s Office detectives, for distribution of suspected obscene material depicting to minors and allegedly teaching pedophiles.
Greaves was arrested after case investigators ordered a copy of the controversial book and eventually received it in Lakeland with his signature on it, thus violating the state’s obscenity law and a third-degree felony.
The 47-year old book author will be extradited to Florida as soon as possible and will face charges.
The e-book copy of ‘The Pedophile’s Guide to Love and Pleasure: A Child-Lover’s Code of Conduct’ went on sale at Amazon starting October 28, 2010 but was later removed after thousands of negative comments online were raised.
But in early November, Greaves defended his book saying that its real purpose was only being misunderstood.
