A female to succeed Berlusconi
"I will leave politics only when the Italians will have someone who can replace me. But he should not be a 60 year-old leader. He should be from the new generation. There are young ministers in the government, who in the future can become good leaders," the Italian Prime Minister Silvio Berlusconi said on TV program “Matrix”.
As RIA Novosti reported, "Berlusconi does not rule out that he may be succeeded by a female candidate.
"Why not? I do not rule out that the Prime Minister of Italy may be a woman," Berlusconi said.
At the same time the head of the Italian government has hinted at the idea that he is not ready yet to concede his positions.
