2010 marked another positive year in Armenian-American relations
Ambassador of U.S. to Armenia Marie Yovanovitch congratulating the Armenian people on the New Year expressed the hope that year 2011 will be a year of happiness and prosperity for the Armenian people.
“Dear Armenian people!
Let me congratulate you on the New Year.
2010 marked another positive year in Armenian-American relations, highlighted by President Sargsyan’s visit to the U.S. and Secretary of State Clinton’s visit to Armenia. I hope that the coming year will strengthen these ties, and our partnership will continue to flourish.
I want to express my deep appreciation for the extraordinary warmth and hospitality the Armenian people have shown me in every part of this beautiful country. For all of us at the American embassy, it is truly an honor to live and work in Armenia.
Merry Christmas and Happy New Year,” Marie Yovanovitch said, according to the U.S. Embassy report.
