No ban on Polish citizens' travel to NKR
Poland’s Foreign Ministry confirmed Warsaw’s neutrality on the Nagorno Karabakh settlement. It believes the conflict should be resolved within OSCE Minsk Group, aysor.am correspondent was told at the Polish Embassy in Yerevan.
The Embassy refused to comment upon the report posted on the website of the Polish Embassy in Baku on Polish Foreign Ministry’s ban on its citizens’ travel to NKR meanwhile saying that the report was really placed on the website but at present the site is out of order for technical reasons.
“Polish Foreign Ministry’s official position on the settlement of the Nagorno Karabakh conflict has been kept unchanged,” Machey Falkovsi, the Second Secretary at the Polish Embassy in Yerevan, stressed adding that there is no ban on Polish citizens’ travel to Nagorno Karabakh.
“The Polish Embassy in Yerevan cannot, either, ban its citizens’ travel to Nagorno Karabakh,” the Embassy said.
The website of Poland’s Embassy in Baku ((http://www.baku.polemb.net/) reported that the Polish Foreign Ministry bans its citizens’ travel to Nagorno Karabakh since “it is part of Azerbaijan according to international law.” The Foreign Ministry called on Polish citizens to get a “permission” in Baku to visit NKR.
The website of the Polish Embassy in Baku is out of order at the moment.
