Film about 'Operation Koltso' to be screened by May

Three films on the massacres of Armenians in the 1990s in Azerbaijan have been made within the framework of the “Ordinary Genocide” project, the first is about the Baku massacres, second about Sumgait, third about Maragha, head of the project Marina Grigoryan told reporters in Yerevan adding that a film about Khojali is being made, and a film about 'Operation Koltso' (Ring) will be screened by May 2011, as we will mark the 20th anniversary of those events in April 2011.

According to M. Grigoryan, the film about Baku has been updated with new facts, testimonies. In particular, a video has been found, restored and digitalized. If found later, the old video could not have been restored.

“We have found an incomplete list of victims killed in 1990 and in 1989,” Grigoryan said.

In return, information security expert Samvel Martirosyan said that though we have found new data, we don’t have all lists, all names of Baku slaughters’ victims. Besides, data by various sources differ, we have information about 44, 90, 60 victims.
